Season 1, Episode 13 - "Cursed"

A 12-year-old named Gabe (Daryl Sabara) is taken to the hospital after collapses with a rash on his arm. Jeffrey, his father, suggests leishmaniasis and filariasis, but his opinion is dismissed. The team treats Gabe for different conditions including anthrax poisoning, sarcoidosis, and autoimmune diseases, only to see each treatment fail and cause new symptoms instead. Meanwhile, Chase encounters his estranged father, Rowan Chase, who is being treated for terminal stage four lung cancer by Wilson without his son's knowledge.
