'How I Met Your Mother' to Release 'The Wedding Bride' in May

Remember the episode "As Fast As You Can," in which Ted bumped into Stella and Tony? That episode closed the whole Stella chapter on How I Met Your Mother as Future Ted revealed that she established a new and successful dermatological practice on the West Coast while her husband Tony became a successful screenwriter. However, it did leave a tiny window open for Tony's 2010 hit movie called The Wedding Bride. Executive producer Craig Thomas tells us that The Wedding Bride will be released on How I Met Your Mother in May and will involve yet another big clue about the future mother of Ted's children. And since the film is about Tony winning back Stella from Ted, the idea of bringing Stella back on the show isn't too farfetched. Thomas was understandably coy on the subject. After all, the actress who portrays Stella, Sarah Chalke, is busy playing Dr. Elliot Reid on ABC's Scrubs. But according to TV Guide's source, the 33-year-old actress is likely to resurface.
