Season 2, Episode 3 - "A Stand-Up Triple"

An irresponsible mother and her three children enter the program and Mary tries to straighten everything out. The eldest son is shown caring for the younger children at the beginning of the episode and this continues into their lives in the program. Mary thinks that he is wasting his life and education by skipping classes, but discovers that he is actually returning home to do housework. She explains that the same thing happened to her when she was young and tries to guide him so that he does not follow the same path that she did. Meanwhile Jinx's court date is approaching and she still believes she did nothing wrong. She has Brandi attend her Alcoholics Anonymous group and instead goes to dentist appointment to fix the tooth that she hurt during the arrest. After watching the video of her arrest, Jinx breaks down, realizing that she actually is a drunk, and pleads guilty when she arrives at court. She is sentenced to a one month stay in a rehab facility.
