James Roday

James Roday was born in 4 April 1976, in San Antonio, Texas, USA. He is currently starring in his hit TV show, Psych, where he plays Shawn Spencer, a con who tricks the police into believing that he is a psychic. He uses his keen observational skills and photographic memory help him solve cases for the Santa Barabara Police Department. He gets help from his childhood friend, Gus, and his father, Henry, who is a retired cop who used to work for the same police station. Characters from the police department that play an important role in Shawn's "carrer" include Head Detective Lassiter, Interim Cheif Vick, and Junior Detective Juliet O'Hara. Roday also starred in Dukes of Hazzard as Billy Prickett, and takes part in directing and writing scripts for comedic and horror movies.
