Summary:

At the beginning of The Office series, Jim Halpert, played by John Krasinski, is a paper salesman at the Scranton branch of Dunder Mifflin, a paper distribution company. Jim spends most of his time scheming with the receptionist Pam Beesly in doing pranks on co-worker, Dwight Schrute. Though Pam is engaged to warehouse worker, Roy, at the beginning of the series, after Jim admits to his feelings for her at the end of Season 2. She turns him down though obviously has feelings for him too which later results in Jim leaving for another branch of the company and later Pam calling off her wedding. In Season 3, Jim returns to the Scranton branch, but with co-worker and girlfriend, Karen Filippelli, in tow. Still, there are sparks between Jim and Pam which result in a happily accepted date by Pam after Jim interrupts her interview with the camera in the Season 3 Finale.

In the Begining of the office jim halpert is sent from the planet krypton to help the wariors of Dunder Mifflin...just kidding. Jim is an all around good guy, who is avidly trying to cover up his feelings for receptionist and best friend Pam Beasly. Dwight is in a way his rival, but nobody can stand Dwight anyway. Everyone likes Jim, and Pam clearly has feelings for him too. But alas, jim feels he reaches a dead end at Scranton Office, especially when he comes to the conclusion that Pam won't be with him, even though if he had waited around a bit, they probably would have started dating. So he moves to Stanford, where he meets Karen, who really isn't that bad, but a true office fan will root for Pam and Jim. The Stanford Office gets closed down, so he Moves Back to scranton, where he is reunited with Pam. Plenty of awkward, and tense moments fill up most of season 3, but alas, all fans can tak a sigh of relief. On the last twenty seconds of the last episode of Season 3, jim, after realizing his feelings for pam are stronger then Karen, he asked a suprised but blissful pam out on a dat, which she delightedly accepts. I hope season 4 picks up right after that...YAY!~~~
