Career

Schaech's career in movies and television dates back to 1993. He has appeared in such movies as Prom Night, Sea of Dreams, 8mm 2, Hush, Welcome to Woop Woop, Suzanne's Diary for Nicholas, Kiss the Bride, Judas, Sol Goode, After Sex, If You Only Knew, Splendor, That Thing You Do!, The Doom Generation and Forsaken and also How To Make An American Quilt.

Richard Chizmar and Schaech are the founders of Chesapeake Films. Their first projects include an adaptation of Stephen King's From a Buick 8, Douglas Clegg's The Hour Before Dark, Stephen King's Black House, Ed Gorman's The Poker Club, and Road House 2: Last Call.

Personal life

Schaech was born in Edgewood, Maryland, the son of Joanne, a telemarketing executive, and Joe Schaech, a law enforcement officer.[1] He was married to actress Christina Applegate from 2001 to 2007.
