Jeremy Davies Signs On For Season Two of “Justified”

The Hollywood Reporter tells us that Jeremy Davies (Lost, Rescue Dawn) has booked a recurring role on season two of FX’s Justified , as the new nemesis for Raylan Givens (Timothy Olyphant). According to the article, Davies’ character Dickie Bennett is yet another old rival of Raylan’s. The smartest of three brothers, Dickie comes from another family that has a long history with the Givens clan, and has spent time in prison for dealing marijuana (which happens to be the family business). His problems with Raylan go way back: he walks with a limp following a high school fight with everyone’s favorite Harlan County marshal. Needless to say, he’ll have a very personal axe to grind. Davies is best known to TV geeks as Daniel Faraday on  Lost . To Read More  Click Here.

Justified Producer Explains Finale, Previews Season Two

The terrific first season of Justified came to an end this week. Among the many developments on the season finale: Boyd escaped death... again. Indeed, while Walton Goggins wasn't even a series regular when Justified premiered, creator and executive producer Graham Yost said storylines were adjusted to fit his character's chemistry with that of Timothy Olyphant's Raylan. "We knew the [Raylan and Boyd] relationship would help form the spine of the season," Yost told TV Guide. "Heading into the finale we knew we wanted to both resolve some things, get some answers, and yet throw open more questions. "The big question is, 'What's going to happen with Boyd, what's Raylan going to do?' He's implicated in the murder of a confidential informant from the meth lab, but he has been, in his strange Boyd way, fighting a good fight to try to stop his father from bringing evil to Harlan. So what does Raylan do?" To Read More Click Here .

'Justified': Tonight's ep looks like the best yet. Not too late to get hooked.

If you've been watching FX's Justified, chances are you share my opinion that tonight's episode (10 p.m. ET, with repeats at 11 p.m. and 1 a.m.) looks like the Timothy Olyphant series' finest hour to date. If you haven't tuned in, but suddenly find an opening in your TV schedule, here's some basic info. so you can start to enjoy it like the rest of us: * Olyphant is Deputy U.S. Marshal Raylan Givens, a Stetson-wearing gunslinger recently reassigned back to his native Kentucky. * He's got an ex-wife, Winona (Natalie Zea), who left him for a realtor, Gary, she then married. Raylan has admitted to Winona that a man doesn't get over a woman like her, but he helped Gary out of a life-threatening financial jam because she asked him to. Winona started off the season trading barbs with Raylan - which made their chemistry a fan favorite - but she hinted last episode that she didn't want him to be happy that everything worked out for Gary and her. In the preview below, it looks like she's about to make that crystal clear when she shows up at Raylan's motel room. To Read More Click Here .

How Far Will Justified's Raylan Go to Help His Ex's New Man?

Justified's Raylan Givens seems like the kind of guy who would do almost anything for his ex-wife, Winona. But isn't risking himself for her current husband, Gary, pushing it a little? In Tuesday's episode (10/9c on FX), Raylan (Timothy Olyphant) finds himself on involuntary vacation while the U.S. Marshal's office continues to deal with the firestorm Raylan's created. So, he fills his downtime by helping Gary (William Ragsdale), a real estate agent who owes money to the kinds of "investors" you don't want to deal with. "They want their money back, and he doesn't have it," Ragsdale tells "They start threatening and rattling the cage, and somebody gets hurt." Enter Winona (Natalie Zea), who calls on Raylan to help. "If there were any other way she could do this, she would," Zea says. "I think it's inevitable that latent unresolved feelings are going to come up, which is precisely why she doesn't want to go to him. She's trying to handle him being back in town in a very graceful, delicate way but she knows herself too well, and it ends up getting much more complicated than she would want." Justified Promotes Walton Goggins to Series Regular

Following Justified's Season 2 renewal, recurring guest star Walton Goggins has been promoted to series regular. The 38-year-old actor, who plays white supremacist Boyd Crowder, was originally supposed to die in Justified's pilot. However, executive producer Graham Yost decided to extend Crowder's time on the series after his character scored well with test audiences. "He's amazing and he's just a great guy. There had to be charm in Boyd. We knew with Boyd, going in, that who we cast was critical for the success of the pilot, therefore getting it to become a series," Yost said. "So Goggins' casting was really instrumental. Without him, we wouldn't be on the air." Before Justified, Goggins starred in the FX crime drama The Shield. He will next be seen on the big screen in Robert Rodriguez's Predators. Justified, which was the most-watched series premiere in FX history, will wrap its first season on June 8. Source Here
