Laguna Beach (Season 1)

Got drama? Need more? Well, there was certainly plenty of it to go around during season 1 of Laguna Beach!

Until recently the California enclave of Laguna Beach was best known for its pristine beaches and multimillion dollar homes. But in 2004, MTV unleashed the first season of Laguna Beach, which featured gorgeous teens leading glamorous lives, and viewers discovered what lay beneath the surface of this seemingly perfect community. It was time to get to know the real Orange County.

Laguna Beach's Lauren (aka LC), Lo, Christina, Kristin, Morgan, Trey, Talan and Stephen grew up together, and the tight-knit clique granted MTV an all-access pass inside their lives. What did these rich kids do all day long? Anything they pleased! But their lives weren't perfect, and money didn't buy everything.

From spring break to prom to graduation, the Laguna Beach posse took us along for the ride of their lives and showed us the real-life drama that unfolded during their pivotal senior year in high school. And it all started with the "Black and White" party thrown by LC and the gang.

The de facto leader of the season 1 Laguna Beach bunch was down-to-earth LC, who harbored a lifelong crush on her surfer friend Stephen. But Stephen was sort of going out with LC's "rival," Kristin. So wherever the three of them went, drama followed.

From the very first episode of Laguna Beach, the attraction between LC and Stephen was obvious, and Kristin was not happy about it. During a party at Trey's house, Stephen told Kristin that he was heading home early and then snuck off to LC's house. But Laguna Beach is a small town, and word traveled fast. When confronted by Kristin about his late-night pit stop at LC's house, Stephen blew it off and claimed he was "just friends" with LC. But Stephen and LC had hooked up in the past, and Kristin did not want that to happen again.

Kristin often used Stephen's "friendship" with LC as an excuse to fool around with other guys. But Kristin had always had her eye on Talan and a kid named Sam. When the Laguna Beach crew headed to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, for spring break, everyone's motto seemed to be "what happens in Cabo stays in Cabo." And Kristin took full advantage of everything Mexico had to offer.

In Cabo, Stephen realized that he wasn't the only guy in Kristin's life when she tried to make him jealous by macking on Sam right in front of him! The plan worked, but was Kristin just pushing Stephen straight into LC's arms?

The next night, the Laguna Beach bunch had dinner together, and Stephen and Kristin spent the night trying to make each other jealous. Kristin made goo-goo eyes at Sam while LC playfully spoon-fed Stephen. LC and Stephen took it up a notch, though, by heading to the hotel and spending the night together. But did they hook up? No one knew for sure because neither one of them was willing to kiss and tell.

At the end of season 1, LC and Stephen headed to San Francisco to go to college. Stephen and Kristin decided to have an "open" relationship while he was away. It looked hopeful that LC would finally land her man.

Season 2 of Laguna Beach continued to follow the lives of LC, Stephen and Kristin -- but this time around Kristin was the leader of the pack. After spending just one semester in San Francisco, LC was back in Laguna and Stephen occasionally dropped in to stir things up between her and Kristin. When season 2 ended, we followed LC to The Hills of L.A. and a new group of Laguna Beachers reigned in season 3.

Season 1 of Laguna Beach may be "dunzo," but that doesn't mean the drama's over. On MTV.com, you can relive all the beach bonfires, catty name calling and romantic moments.

Laguna Beach (Season 2)

Everyone's favorite drama queens and Don Juans returned for season 2 of Laguna Beach. But this time Kristin led the pack, and there was more than enough drama to go around. Welcome back to paradise, otherwise known as Laguna Beach, California.

As one of the wealthiest, most beautiful beachside communities in the world, Laguna Beach is filled with gorgeous teens leading glamorous lives. And, during season 2, MTV once again had unlimited access to the escapades of Laguna Beach's tight-knit power clique: season 1 alums Kristin, Lauren (aka LC), Stephen and Talan; and newbies Jessica, Jason, Alex M. and Taylor. But their lives weren't perfect, and money didn't buy everything. This was the real Orange County!

From Valentine's Day to Winter Formal to the teary goodbyes, season 2's Laguna Beach bunch took us along for the ride of their lives and showed us the real-life drama that unfolded during their last year together. But it all started back in season 1, when the Kristin-Stephen-LC love triangle first heated up.

At the time, Stephen was caught between two girls -- wild, fun-loving Kristin and down-to-earth LC, who harbored a lifelong crush on him. Stephen and Kristin were sort of going out, but whenever things got rocky between them he would run straight into LC's waiting arms.

After season 1 of Laguna Beach ended, Stephen and LC moved to San Francisco to go to college while Kristin stayed behind to start her senior year in high school. While in San Francisco, it looked like Stephen and LC's on-again, off-again romance would finally have room to bloom. But everything changed when LC decided she didn't like San Francisco, and Kristin realized she wasn't interested in Stephen anymore.

After a semester away, LC returned to Laguna Beach, and boy had things changed. Kristin was now the queen bee, and there was a whole new gang of Laguna Beachers to compete with. With Stephen off at college, Kristin was courted by a new crop of hot boys, and all she wanted to do was party and play the field. This was Kristin's year to rule the school, but she just couldn't seem to shake the drama.

Although Kristin told Stephen she had moved on, he still wanted her back in his life. During Christmas break he came down from San Francisco to woo her, but when she rejected him he ran right back to LC, as usual. Then, when Valentine's rolled around, the love triangle was in full swing again as Stephen took Kristin out for a romantic dinner, where she told him she just wanted to be friends. Crushed, Stephen stopped by LC's house the next day with a late offering of flowers and chocolates.

While Kristin was playing the field and keeping Stephen at arm's length, a new love triangle emerged. Jason, Laguna Beach's resident heartbreaker, was a notorious bad boy who constantly had a bevy of girls at his beck and call. First, Jason was dating Kristin's best friend, Jessica. But everyone knew he was cheating on her -- except Jessica, of course. When they finally called it quits, Jason moved on to Alex M. But that didn't last too long either, and he finally wound up hooking up with LC. The guy certainly got around!

But Kristin tried not to let all drama get in the way of her enjoying her senior year. By the end of season 2, Kristin had had a few flings of her own, including one with Talan, and finally got Stephen to understand that she really just wanted to be friends.

When season 2 was "dunzo" and Kristin and the rest of the Laguna Beach gang went their separate ways, we followed LC to The Hills of L.A. and a new group of Laguna Beachers reigned in season 3.

The original Laguna Beach bunch may have hit the sand and surf for the last time in 2005, but that doesn't mean the drama has to end. You can always watch all the hook ups, backstabbing and wild parties on MTV.com.

Laguna Beach (Season 3)

When the original kids grew up and moved on, a whole new generation of gorgeous teens was ready to fill their void and brought the drama during season 3 of Laguna Beach. Cliques clashed, secrets were revealed and hearts were broken. And, once again, it was all set against the picturesque beaches and staggering wealth of Laguna Beach, California.

When the cliques of seasons 1 and 2 went their separate ways, MTV found a new group of Laguna Beachers who were willing to continue exposing the underbelly of their tight-knit community: Tessa, Raquel (aka Rocky), Kyndra, Chase, Kelan, Cameron, Cami, Lexie and Breanna. It was time to get a fresh perspective on what it was like to live in the real Orange County.

From BBQs to birthday parties to band practice, the Laguna Beach bunch of season 3 took us along for the ride of their lives and showed us the real-life drama that unfolded during their junior year of high school. And it all began when rivals Tessa and Kyndra clashed at Kyndra's barbeque.

Tessa and her best friend Rocky went everywhere together, so when Tessa's ex-friend Kyndra inadvertently invited her over, Tessa assumed Rocky was invited too. Big mistake. Kyndra hated Rocky and spent the entire day making fun of the duo with her sidekicks Lexie and Cami, who was dubbed "the queen of mean."

When Tessa and Rocky finally got fed up and left, Kyndra found herself in the hot tub with Cameron. But Cameron was supposedly going out with Jessica, who had her heart broken by Jason during season 2 of Laguna Beach. It looked like Jessica was about to be crushed again.

A self-proclaimed player, Cameron bounced back and forth between Jessica and Kyndra until he decided to drop them both. But not before he threw Tessa into the mix. While on vacation, Tessa and Cameron shared a wild night together, and Tessa was sure it was true love. Then Tessa spotted Cameron canoodling with Jessica at his birthday party, and she high-tailed it out of there in a huff.

Tessa then hoped she could transform her best friend Chase into her boyfriend, but his band, Open Air Stereo, always seemed to come first. Tessa eventually settled on dating a guy from school named Derek, but things didn't really work out and he wound up hooking up with Breanna, kid sister to season 1 alum LC.

Rocky faired better in the game of love when she met Alex, who was a year older. Although they broke up at one point, Rocky and Alex eventually decided they were meant to be together, even though he was going away to college. Before Alex left Laguna he gave Rocky a promise ring and swore he'd be faithful while they were apart.

But poor Tessa never found her true love -- probably because she compared everyone to Chase. When Chase's band got signed and headed to L.A., Tessa feared she was going to lose him forever. But little did Tessa know that that was the least of her problems.

While Tessa was pining over Chase, Rocky and Breanna were rekindling their on-again, off-again friendship, which had been contentious through all of season 3. Breanna apologized to Rocky for all the nasty things she had done and the two girls made amends and decided to start over. The only thing was ... Breanna hated Tessa, so Tessa was afraid Rocky's newfound friendship would cause friction between her and Rocky.

There was definitely tons of drama in store for the season 3 Laguna Beach gang as they started their senior year in high school. No matter where the new crew winds up, though, you can watch all your favorite Laguna Beach moments over and over again on MTV.com.
