Lauren has an extensive list of film and television credits including principal and supporting roles in The Eleventh Hour, Mutant X, Blue Murder, and Brooke in the television series In a Heartbeat. She also appeared in two seasons of I Was A Sixth Grade Alien and had a recurring role in Noddy and Friends.

Lauren was a 2003 nominee and the 2002 winner of a Young Artist Award for Best Ensemble Actor in a TV Series for Degrassi. In March 2006, Lauren appeared alongside Antonio Banderas in Take The Lead. She appeared in Picture This with Ashley Tisdale and fellow Degrassi star Shenae Grimes.

Lauren also has a role in the film Charlie Bartlett, starring Robert Downey Jr. She has appeared on The Best Years, and The Border, and she shot a pilot, Rita Rocks, for the Lifetime Network.
