A boxer celebrating his victory is shot to death, and when it turns out the victim is the brother of a young man Logan mentored he commits himself and Wheeler to solving the crime. Unfortunately, as he and Wheeler explore the world of amateur boxing, secrets and betrayals complicate the case.
