Tonight's TV Hot List: Tuesday, April 6, 2010

* NCIS: Los Angeles (9/8c CBS) Several MMA fighters - Dan Henderson, Frank Shamrock, Gilbert Melendez, Josh Thomson, K.J. Noons, and Cung Le - have cameos in an episode that has one of the agents going undercover as a fighter. Of course, it's Eric. Kidding. Seriously, the series has already lost Dom, so they can't afford to take another hit. Sam is the obvious choice, as he battles the fighters when the murder of a marine is connected to a mixed-martial-arts gym. * Lost (9/8c ABC) What's up with these dramatic entrances at the end of episodes lately? First Widmore and, last week, a decrepit looking Desmond, who'll be joined tonight by Penny; Daniel Faraday and his mom, Eloise Hawking; old friend Charlie; and George Minkowski (Fisher Stevens) from Widmore's Season 4 freighter. If Desmond's "the package" we think he might be, let's hope he peps up, because with the Widmore-Locke monster showdown (and who knows what else) looming, things are getting more apocalyptic by the week. * Justified (10/9c FX ) After last week's close call (those vests do come in handy), Raylan could use a change of scenery. But he's going to L.A. on business and eating humble pie. Two slices: Rachel is the assignment's lead officer; and their quarry (Alan Ruck) eluded Raylan once before. He's a former drug-gang accountant who's now a dentist, and something he does to a patient (wait till you see it) lands him on the news and back on the radar of the Marshals Service. His old gang colleagues watch the news as well, and they're not as nice as Raylan is. * Law & Order: Criminal Intent (10/9c USA Network ) The two-part season premiere wraps up as Goren and Eames struggle with the grief of Ross' murder. And while they've got plenty of motivation to solve the case, multiple run-ins with the Feds impede their investigation. On the criminal side of things, the devious son of the murdered sheik keeps the double crosses coming as he continues his power play. This episode also marks the exit of Vincent D'Onofrio and Kathryn Erbe as series regulars, while Saffron Burrows joins the cast as Nichols' sharp new partner. * Parenthood (10/9c NBC) Kristina feels the effects of her constant worrying when her woes begin to carry over to the bedroom, much to Adam's dismay. But she's not the only one feeling stressed. Crosby tries to find a way to tell Camille and Zeek about Jabbar; Julia becomes jealous of a mom in Joel's play group; and Sarah ponders whether it's acceptable for her to date Amber's teacher. Minka Kelly guest stars as a behavioral aide who begins working with Max, and Jason Ritter returns as the alluring Mr. Cyr. * Dancing with the Stars (8/9c ABC) Last week, Len instructed the couples to "tell a story" with their performances in Week 3. Sadly, tonight will be the closing chapter in one celebrity's dancing story as the second person of the season is voted off. One week after exiting with Shannen Doherty, dancing pro Mark Ballas returns to the stage to play an acoustic paso-doble arrangement on the guitar. Country legend Reba will also be singing "Consider Me Gone" and "I Want a Cowboy." Source Here

Tonight's TV Hot List: Tuesday, March 30, 2010

* V (10:02/9:02c ABC) Whenever a drama takes a brief siesta, the show's shepherds typically use the last episode to drop cliff-hanger bombshells to hook viewers for the series' return, like putting Erica's son in harm's way, Chad's grave prognosis and that creepy cross-species pregnancy. The re-imagined sci-fi series awakens from its winter slumber to address those suspenseful scenarios, with genre babes Rekha Sharma (Battlestar Galactica) and Lexa Doig (Gene Roddenberry's Andromeda) along for the ride. * Dancing with the Stars (8/7c ABC) After two rounds of dancing, one couple will have the dubious distinction of being the first to go in Season 10 - but they won't be leaving before they're entertained during tonight's results show. Via video message, Wyclef Jean introduces Haitian dancer Emmanuel Pierre-Antoine, who will lead dancers from his homeland in a tribute performance for their country. In addition, the Beach Boys (along with John Stamos) perform a medley; and Adam Corolla gives a comic critique of the celebs' performances. * Melrose Place (9/8c The CW ) It's the night fans of the original series have been waiting for, as Jo Reynolds (Daphne Zuniga), Jane Mancini (Josie Bissett), Amanda Woodward (Heather Locklear) and Michael Mancini (Thomas Calabro) finally reunite at 4616 Melrose Place. When Jonah throws a party at their old stomping grounds, each decides to crash it - with their own secret agendas, of course. * Law & Order: Criminal Intent (10/9c USA Network ) The L&O spin-off is back for its ninth season, and there are plenty of changes brewing in the Major Case Squad. Vincent D'Onofrio, Kathryn Erbe and Eric Bogosian prepare to exit as series regulars, but they've got one more case to work out before they go. Goren and Eames chase down a murderer who killed a wealthy businessman and his girlfriend. The businessman had been leading pirate-hunting expeditions off the coast of Africa, but his final target set off a complicated series of events with devastating consequences. * Frontline (9/8c PBS) Though it paled in magnitude to the late-February earthquake in Chile, the earthquake that hit Haiti early this year proved far more devastating in terms of deaths, damage and the emergency response. Reported by Martin Smith, this Frontline installment offers a first-hand look at what went right and, more often than not, wrong during the initial relief efforts. Source Here
