Leverage returns to TNT on June 26. What can fans expect from this fun drama? A new nemesis, E! News confirms, in the form of a man named Latimer. When he's not bending the rules as the Leverage team's resident enforcer Eliot Spencer, Christian Kane can often be found bending guitar strings in honky-tonks around the country. The Texas-born and Oklahoma-raised Kane does double duty as an aspiring country singer. "I like my country with a little more gasoline," he says of the fiery country-rock sound heard on his debut CD, The House Rules, out December 7. "My way of looking at country music is [similar to] Garth Brooks. He put something fun and new back into a genre that was letting a little rigor mortis set in." Sort of what Leverage did to the tired TV-crime genre, mixing light comedy and dark drama. Sunday's episode, a Christmas tale, relies on the former, while next week's two-hour season finale — introducing ER's Goran Visnjic as villain Damien Moreau — is decidedly gloomy, Kane says. "There is nothing comedic about what's getting ready to happen," he warns, offering some ominous foreshadowing. "You're going to find out a lot more than you wanted to about Eliot. He may not be the sweetheart everybody thinks he is." Leverage airs Sunday at 9/8c on TNT. Source Here
Leverage fans, you are without a doubt a very patient bunch. You’ve been without new episodes since September, and that’s not a hiatus to be taken lightly. Luckily, your virtue will be rewarded with three new episodes starting Dec. 12 (as if the date wasn’t already circled in your calendars with hearts and tiny fists drawn around it). I could leave you stewing in your anticipation until then, but I will show you mercy in the form of three sneak peeks at the finale, which will feature the return of the The Italian, played by Elisabetta Canalis (that’s “George Clooney’s girlfriend,” to you and me), and an appearance from ER alum Goran Viscnijc. Throughout the third season of TNT's Leverage, Nate (Timothy Hutton) and his team have been on the heels of supervillain Damien Moreau, a ruthless financier of all things criminal. For the December 19 two-part finale, they finally come face-to-face with their nemesis, played by former ER star Goran Visnjic. "He's the guy who never killed somebody with his own hands, but he's probably responsible for thousands of deaths worldwide," says Visnjic, who initially was hesitant to play a bad guy. But after watching episodes of the crime caper, he quickly changed his mind. "I was like, you know what? This is going to be loads of fun," he tells TV Guide Magazine. But it was the "go big or go home" approach to acting that turned out to be his biggest challenge. "On the set, Dean [Devlin, executive producer] and Marc [Roskin, director] were telling me, 'Dude, just push it. You can't overdo it.' You have to trust that they're going to use something that is really good, but at the same time, you're allowed to have fun on the set. I actually saw [the episodes] and I'm real happy about them!". Former ER star Goran Visnjic will trade life-saving for life-taking in Leverage's two-part season finale, TVGuide.com has learned. Visnjic, who played Dr. Luka Novac for nine years on ER, will play Damian Moreau, a ruthless international financier who runs money for drug dealers, gun runners, smugglers and other nefarious groups. Moreau is described as a jack-of-all-trades — most of them deadly — when it comes to financing crime. Nate (Timothy Hutton) and his team searched for Moreau throughout the third season at the behest of a mysterious woman known only as The Italian (guest star Elisabetta Canalis). But when the team members finally come face to face with Moreau, they will be forced to rethink their strategy to take him down and avoid retaliation from The Italian. Visnjic, 38, has appeared in such films as Welcome to Sarajevo, The Peacemaker, Rounders and The Deep End. Leverage returns with a holiday episode Sunday, Dec. 12 at 9/8c, followed on Dec. 19 by the two-part season finale. Source Here
Parker, play dead! Those are the instructions given to Leverage's blonde grifter-in-training played by Beth Riesgraf as Nate (Timothy Hutton) and his team of do-gooder con artists pull their last con of the summer - a job that brings them one step closer to nabbing the as-yet-unseen international crook Damien Moreau. In the episode, titled "The Morning After Job," the target is a hockey goon - turned - money launderer with a connection to Moreau. The plan? Convincing him that he murdered Parker during a one-night stand, which he can't quite remember. (Probably because it never happened!) What can go wrong does according to executive producer Dean Devlin, who admits, "Part of the fun of the show is that things never go smoothly. We never wanted to turn our team into superheroes - we always wanted to give them Achilles' heels, and usually it's related to their personality defects." To Read More Click Here .
