Tonight's TV Hot List: Monday, Oct. 26 - Featured

* Trauma (9/8c NBC) It's all fun and games until someone gets hurt. That adage holds true in this Halloween episode when a party gets out of control and the paramedics are called in. While Tyler and Boone work through the carnage, Nancy and Glenn are spooked by an unusual call. It's never a dull day on the job for these folks. * Gossip Girl (9/8c The CW ) Albert Hammond Jr. performs in this week's episode, which spotlights the opening of Chuck's club in his new hotel. Needing some publicity for the event, Chuck leans on Serena and her new PR connections. Blair, meanwhile, needs to get back on Chuck's good side, so she tries to secretly help him. Elsewhere, Rufus works on getting Lily into the Halloween spirit, while Dan watches something he finds unsettling in a film - no, it's not a horror scene, but one of Olivia's on-screen sex scenes. * Lie to Me (9/8c Fox) Life hasn't been a bowl of cherries for Cal this season: Last week he was held hostage and tonight an old friend gets him mixed up with the mob. And then there's the Lightman Group's persistent cash-flow problem, which he caused when he bought out Zoe's share of the business to keep her (and, more importantly, Emily) from moving to Chicago. At least he has a friend in Gillian to lean on. Whether they'll ever be more than that remains an open question, but they have been friendlier lately. * Monday Night Football (8:30/7:30c ESPN) Philadelphia and Washington collide in what should be a contentious divisional affair after each team got in the Halloween spirit last week with frighteningly bad losses to the lowly Raiders and Chiefs. The Redskins' 2-4 start is even worse considering that Philly (3-2) is the first team they've played that has even one win. Not surprisingly, head coach Jim Zorn's job is hanging by a thread. Andy Reid's Eagles, meanwhile, are slowly seeing injury-prone running back Brian Westbrook (a D.C.-area native) get his groove back, giving QB Donovan McNabb one more reliable weapon against a tough 'Skins defense led by rookie end Brian Orakpo. * Cake Boss (10/9c TLC ) Buddy Valastro, top baker and all-around good guy, is back for another season of this tasty reality hit, which chronicles life inside his booming family-run bakery in Hoboken, N.J. In the Season 2 opener, a customer orders an engagement-ring cake, which he plans to present to his girlfriend when he proposes in the bakery. Awww, how sweet (literally)! Source Here

Fox Orders Three More Lie to Me Scripts

Lie to Me's Kelli Williams: Meet the New Gillian Foster - Featured

Lie to Me made some behind-the-scenes changes this season, translating into on-screen changes for Kelli Williams' character, Gillian Foster. The 39-year-old former star of The Practice says the addition of executive producer Shawn Ryan and a focus on character-based stories has helped the series, which premiered as a midseason replacement in January. Williams says she welcomes the changes, which have opened numerous possibilities for Foster's future. "Foster was in a much heavier place at the end of last year with her marriage falling apart," Williams says. "This season there's a little bit more levity in the office. And since I'm no longer with my husband, there are a lot of places they can take Foster." For one thing, the writers chose to make Foster less of a stickler. When investigating a cultlike religious group for tax fraud earlier this season, Foster was less interested in making a case for the IRS and more focused on helping one of the families escape from the group's leader. "I like that my character is doing things that she wouldn't otherwise do," Williams says. "Because Lightman (Tim Roth) is always breaking the rules, Foster has always been in the position of having to be the one that is the rule follower. It's so much more fun to break the rules, and I think it's good for her to be uncomfortable in that. She's being driven by something else, and she's having to say, 'F--- it, I'm going to do this because I'm passionate about it.' It's fun, short of her getting arrested." Monday's episode finds Foster and all the Lightman Group employees in danger when a man (guest star Garret Dillahunt) takes the scientists hostage to prove he didn't murder his wife. Foster says the episode allows Foster and Lightman to get a little closer. "There's definitely a few moments in that episode that Foster really feels for Lightman and falls apart," Williams says. They've been stuck with each other for years, and they've been really supportive of each other. They care for each other a great deal, but I don't know if it makes sense to get them together." "We can care for each other and be supportive and have those more tender moments and not need to become a couple," Williams continues. "Sometimes it's more fun to keep that flirtation there. Personally, I'm not ready to consummate anything." But Lightman is going to need her support in the coming episodes. "Lightman is going to get into a lot of scrapes. He gets his butt kicked for reading people," Williams says. "It's fun to see that the truth can truly hurt." Lie to Me airs Mondays at 9/8c on Fox. Source Here
