Cate Finally Admits Why She's Been So Angry Since Getting Fired on 'Life Unexpected' (VIDEO)

Ever since Cate (Shiri Appleby) got fired from her radio co-hosting job with husband Ryan (Kerr Smith) on 'Life Unexpected' (Tue., 9PM on CW), there's been a bubbling tension at home. She channeled it into a massive cleaning frenzy, but it wasn't until Ryan talked about her taking a lesser job back at the station that the truth of her anger came out. Ryan was trying to encourage his wife facing unemployment in a very difficult job market. It's an accurate reflection of the situation many Americans are stuck in, except that Cate does have an opportunity. It's just not an ideal one. She could take back the job she had before she went on the air with Ryan "It's the only idea that I have that will keep us working together," Ryan explained. To Read More Click Here .

Top Moments: Child's Play on Parenthood, America's Got Talent and Entourage

Kids did the darnedest things on TV this week. High school student Oscar pursued an affair with both mother and daughter on 90210. Little ones on Parenthood and One Tree Hill got confusing answers to their inquiries about sex. Jimmy Johnson rallied against youth on Survivor: Nicaragua. Eminem and Vince acted like children on Entourage. And precious Jackie Evancho, who came in second on America's Got Talent, occupies the first position in America's heart. 12. Creepiest Character: There are a many lecherous lads on 90210 this season, but Oscar, Ivy's family friend who's in town to do a postgraduate year at West Bev, won the premiere episode's ick-off. After establishing that the horndog is hot for Ivy, we learn that he's also been having a secret affair with Laurel, aka Ivy's mom. 11. Worst Question: It's just another innocent day at the park on Parenthood until precocious Sydney asks parents Julia and Joel if she came out of a vagina. Scared by her question (she's only 6!) and her language, Joel tries to kill her interest by explaining that everyone comes out of a vagina. Which she announces in full voice to her playmates when she returns to the slide. To Read More Click Here .

Liz Tigelaar Interview: What's Next on Life Unexpected?

Life Unexpected got off to a solid start on Tuesday night, premiering its second season with the episode "Ocean Uncharted." What can fans expect over the next few weeks and months? That's a question for creator Liz Tigelaar, who spoke to Daemon's TV this week: On the ramifications of Baze's bar burning down: It definitely affects him because it sets him off having to go in a new direction and kind of opening up a different world for him. He ends up going to interview at his dad’s wealth management firm and ends up interviewing with a character named Emma played by Emma Caulfield and that starts him on what will be a new journey. The two of them definitely have a love/hate relationship although it’s more just hate/hate at the beginning. As actors they have a lot of chemistry together and so they’re really fun to watch. It's a Wonderful Life Unexpected

As a newbie to the world of LUX, I gotta say, what an Unexpected treat! After hearing all sorts of praise for the show during its first year, the expectations were pretty darn high for last night's second-season premiere. And not a single one went un-met. In fact, the return delivered on more than just the fawning blurbs that have been tossed around about this show, proving that yes, it is indeed the drama most likely to steal your heart. It sure snagged mine - while burning down a bar, no less. Not that this is a show that needs big, stunty moments (and the bar blaze was so not) to hook viewers. Obviously, Life's appeal is the giant soul it packs into the stories, whether it was Lux getting honest with Bug about not wanting to be engaged at 16, newlywed Cate being fired from the radio show while wrestling with her feelings for her ex, or Baze manning-up to his dad about fixing the bar...and his broken life. It also doesn't hurt that the cast is really good. It's a rare gem that can make you care about an entire ensemble that's riddled with so many flaws and romantic dysfunctions. Now it makes sense why people love this show! And since last night's episode set up several juicy plots (including one straight out of Pretty Little Liars featuring Melrose survivor Shaun Sipos), Season 2 seems primed for even messier emotional stuff. Some that may either excite or irk fans. But hey, if you really love something, you take the good and you take the bad, right? After all, those are the facts of Life. Are you a LUX fan? What did you think of the season-opener? Source Here
