Lou Manahan - Character

Played by Joe Mantegna, Lou is Hollywood movie studio exec. Kenny Kagan's boss and also love interest for main character and Kenny's ex-wife, Molly Kagan on USA's Starter Wife. While Lou is a big name in the movie business, he throws parties without any interest in all the smoozing that all the other Hollywood people do. He seems to have it together until late in the show's premier episode he's shown drinking heavily and wandering toward the ocean which leads to a police investigation as he was still missing 48 hours later as of the second episode. So, Lou may or may not be a love interest for Molly as the show goes on with or without Lou.
