The 2007 MTV Movie Awards took place on June 3, 2007 at Gibson Amphitheatre in Universal City, California and were hosted by Sarah Silverman, showcasing performances by Rihanna featuring Jay-Z, and Amy Winehouse. It was the first MTV Movie Awards show broadcast live to American audiences. Mark Burnett directed the show and executive produced this year's ceremony.
