The Bitch Is Back: Heather Locklear Returns to Melrose Place - Featured

The new kids of Melrose Place (2009) had better watch their backs, because the original bitch is back. Heather Locklear will reprise her role as the conniving Amanda Woodward, making her debut performance on Tuesday, Nov. 17. "Heather's involvement in the show is something we've been working on for some time, as we couldn't imagine creating and producing this show without the iconic character's inclusion," executive producers Todd Slavkin and Darren Swimmer said in a statement. Locklear, 47, joined the original Melrose Place towards the end of the first season and stayed on throughout the series' seven-year run. Other original cast mates signed on for The CW remake include Laura Leighton, Thomas Calabro, Josie Bisset and Daphne Zuniga. Are you excited for Locklear's return? Source Here

Mean Girls of The CW: And the Meanest Mean Girl Is... - Featured

... Gossip Girl 's Blair Waldorf! Coming in at a decently close second in The Mean Girls of The CW contest was Naomi Clark of 90210 , and third was the popular write-in of Naomi's truly evil sister Jen! What do you think? Did the meanest mean girl of all take the win or did the crazy popularity of Gossip Girl make for an easy win for Blair?

Melrose Place: Ella is a 'Very Sexual Person'

But we know that already. We saw that in the way Ella (Katie Cassidy) looked at hot people - boys and girls - on Melrose Place. "We call her trisexual," she tells Radar Online. "It doens't matter. She's just a very sexual person. There's not much rehearsing as far as the sexuality goes. I just piece together a bunch of people in my life that sort of stood out to me in creating her. It's obvious to me. It's fun." Last night's Melrose Place indeed opened up with more "obvious" sexuality. Auggie (Colin Egglesfield) finally showed some skin thanks to a shower scene. Thanks to flashbacks, meanwhile, we also saw his relationship with Sydney (Laura Leighton) back in their AA days. The other big reveal on the Melrose Place episode was Violet (Ashlee Simpson-Wentz) telling Sydney that she was her daughter (they really jumped right to it, don't they?). I don't think anyone was shocked though - the hair alone were dead give-away's (pun). Moving to the other characters, as everyone predicted Riley (Jessica Lucas) and Jonah (Michael Rady) are starting to get boring, as sweet couples normally do after some time. Speaking of sweet, Lauren (Stephanie Jacobsen) was again very sweet without trying, but I couldn't help but question the casting of the guy. Or the fact that there was no discount on account of he wasn't bad-looking at all. As for Ella, she is starting to become the center of the show, and I'm not sure if that's good or bad. Catch more Melrose Place next week on the CW. Finally, something happens between the happy couple - and Auggie will somehow be involved. Meanwhile, Ella's job is once again on the line, and David (Shaun Sipos) has some serious accusations towards his dad. As for Violet, she continues to make her move on Auggie. Source Here

Featured in this video are the following cast members: Thomas Calabro, Shaun Sipos, Stephanie Jacobsen, Michael Rady, Laura Leighton, Katie Cassidy, Jessica Lucas, Colin Egglesfield and Ashlee Simpson-Wentz. Melrose Place Pilot Synopsis: In an elegant Spanish-style apartment complex in the trendy Melrose neighborhood of Los Angeles, the lives and relationships of a diverse group of 20-somethings intertwine to form a close-knit surrogate family. Sydney Andrews (Laura Leighton, the original Melrose Place ) is the landlady, still beautiful at 40, and a central figure in the lives of all her tenants, especially handsome and rebellious David Breck (Shaun Sipos, Shark ). Sydney started an affair with David despite her turbulent history with his estranged father, Dr. Michael Mancini (Thomas Calabro, the original Melrose Place ). Both father and son learned through experience that Sydney was not above using blackmail to control people. Another tenant, high-powered publicist Ella Simms (Katie Cassidy, Supernatural ), once considered Sydney her mentor, but their friendship was destroyed by betrayal, and Sydney threatened to evict Ella and ruin her career. Sydney also played a pivotal role in the career of Auggie Kirkpatrick (Colin Egglesfield, All My Children ). After they met at an AA meeting, she became a supportive friend to Auggie and encouraged his dream to become a chef. He's now a successful sous chef at the trendy restaurant Coal, but his relationship with Sydney has gone sour since she began drinking again. The other tenants include Lauren Yung (Stephanie Jacobsen, Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles ), a medical student in desperate need of money to pay her student loans, and Jonah Miller (Michael Rady, Swingtown ), an aspiring filmmaker who has just proposed to his live-in girlfriend Riley Richmond (Jessica Lucas, Cloverfield ), a first-grade teacher. The newest tenant, wide-eyed 21-year-old Violet Foster (Ashlee Simpson-Wentz, 7th Heaven ), has just arrived in LA and is horrified to find a bloody body floating in the courtyard pool. David is the leading suspect but, as the police are soon to discover, almost everyone living at Melrose Place had a reason to want the deceased out of the way. An updated version of the popular 1990s series, MELROSE PLACE is from CBS Television Studios with executive producers Todd Slavkin & Darren Swimmer ( Smallville ). Oscar-winner Davis Guggenheim ( An Inconvenient Truth ) is the director and executive producer of the pilot. Source & Video
