Alanna Ubach scares the hell out of men — and it's proving to be a brilliant career move. The actress currently juggles gigs on two hot cable series, playing Thomas Jane's sexually voracious next-door neighbor Yael on HBO's Hung and Ray Romano's pushy lady love Michelle on TNT's Men of a Certain Age. In tonight's episode of Men (10/9c, TNT), Michelle spends the night with Romano's character, Joe, then gives him a macho crotch grab before dashing out the door for work. It throws Joe for a loop and straight into the arms of another woman. What gives with these men? "It's a sign of the times," notes Ubach. "Both shows are about married men who have let go of their youth and dreams and are now single and in shock. They don't know how to handle a woman who takes charge." Ubach made a sexy mark even in her early roles — she was the maid who deflowered Ben Stiller's character in Meet the Fockers — but it's just acting, folks. "It's so crazy that I play all these seductive, confident broads," Ubach says with a laugh. "I'm really the biggest dork I know." Source Here

She's been one of TV's most reliable performers ever since making her series debut 20 years ago in an episode of Quantum Leap, and now she's reuniting with Scott Bakula on TNT's seriocomic sleeper. In between, McGraw has played everybody from Jerry's hit-and-run girlfriend on Seinfeld to Scully's ill-fated sister on The X-Files to Don Draper's showbiz conquest, Bobbie Barrett, on Mad Men. On Men, she's well-cast as Erin, a former actress who's drawn back into the business — and into Terry's life — when a series of cheesy commercials they made in the '80s become a YouTube sensation. McGraw is funny, sexy and real, and you can certainly understand why Bakula's habitual miniskirt-chaser finally falls for a woman of a certain age. On the second-season premiere of 'Men of a Certain Age' (Tue., 10PM ET on TNT), Owen attempts to reign over a staff meeting at the dealership, with mixed results. Marcus, a prize car salesman, gets a phone call and leaves the meeting to take it. Another employee starts texting. Owen tells him, "You put that damn thing away before you're fired." The suddenly hard-ass boss explains the favoritism this way: "You got 30 sales? Because last time I checked, he does 30 sales a month." Terry watches from the back row, smirking. Owen turns to his friend, points at him and demands, "Lose the bike." Terry's grin disappears. Source & Video
The standup-turned-sitcom star has matured into an impressive dramatic actor as beleaguered party-store owner Joe Tranelli on TNT's sophomore drama. As Joe dips his toes back into the dating pool and deals with his anxious teenage son (the remarkable Braeden Lemasters), Romano brings subtlety and wit to a deceptively complicated role. Telling most actors that they look fit enough to play a role younger than their real age would be considered a compliment. Unless you're Scott Bakula. This season, on his TNT series Men of a Certain Age, the 56-year-old's character turns 50. And he's actually rather bummed about the idea. "Nobody's written that Bakula shouldn't be in this show because he's too old, yet I've thought that," he explains. "What if somebody says, 'You're older than the other guys. I don't buy the story'? It's brought a lot more focus on my age in [show] business than I've ever felt." Despite his concern, it's not like the second season of this series about three middle-age friends coming to terms with their lives is going to seem like Betty White clubbing with the cast of Gossip Girl. If anything, he's probably in trouble for looking too young. To Read More Click Here.
Men of a Certain Age turns 2 — the so-called "terrible" stage in life — on Monday. But for the TNT drama, things remain as bittersweet as ever for its leading men as they continue to tackle and tiptoe around middle age. "It's kind of that never-ending arc that everyone has in life, where you're still trying to get out from under," Ray Romano tells us. "They have a destination they want to get to, but they never really get there or are just trying to improve themselves. Sometimes it gets a little hairy, which it does this year, and sometimes it gets a little nice." Season 2 finds pals Joe (Romano), Owen (Andre Braugher) and Terry (Scott Bakula) facing new challenges. Newly divorced Joe has kicked his gambling habit and hopes to join a senior golf tour; Owen is attempting to assert himself in his new power position at his dad's car dealership; and womanizing actor Terry is trying to sell cars at the same dealership at the expense of his ego. But just as they begin their respective fresh starts, life keeps testing them with more twists and turns. To Read More Click Here.
