Michael Scott (played by Steve Carell) is the well-meaning yet disasterous and hilarious boss at Dunder Mifflin, the fictious paper company on NBC's The Office. He never went to business school and everyone hates him most of the time. His girlfriend is Jan and she is his boss at the New York corporate branch of Dunder Mifflin. He has had a rocky relationship with Jan which is the source of plenty of humor for the show along with his often inappropriate humor.
