Michael Stahl-David was born in Chicago, Illinois in August 27 1982. He graduated from Columbia College in Chicago, IL. Stahl-David began his acting career in 2001, playing minor roles such as Rossetti in New Port South and later in 2003 he played Craig in Uncle Nino. His television acting career began in 2007 when he made a guest appearance on Law & Order: Criminal Intent. That year he portrayed Sean Donnelly - one of the four Irish brothers in the short-lived series The Black Donnellys. Michael was most known for his lead role in the 2008 movie Cloverfield as Rob Hawkins. He is also set to appear in Ye Olde Times with the likes of Jack Black and David Arquette which is still in its pre-production process.
