the only dissapointment i have was the link i used to watch it, was out of sync - talking ahead of the movie half way in.

How come the mirrors suddenly were able to talk when they called the daughter?
I didn't get why the mirrors were suddenly able to talk when they called the daughter? If they could talk why not tell the others what they wanted? Why scratch a message when KS asked the mirror what it wanted?

Why did the closing view of NYC have the Twin Towers in the picture?
I couldn't believe the end of the movie when it panned out for its closing view of New York City and there were the Twin Towers! Was the movie made that long ago? Was the setting supposed to be in the past? Did I miss some deep meaning?
