'Modern Family' Season 5: First promo points to a wedding

ABC's first promo for Season 5 of "Modern Family" centers around the one little word everyone wants to hear: "Yes!"As the voiceover teases, "'Modern Family' will change with just one word," before a montage of the entire cast shouting in the affirmative. "But what's the question?" the narrator then asks. What's the question, indeed. Get ready to meet Modern Family's new "Manny"! No, Rico Rodriguez is not leaving the hit abc comedy, but another "Manny" is joining the Pritchett-Delgado household. According to TV guide, workaholic's Adam DeVine has been cast in the recurring role of baby Joe's cute new male nanny. And, according to executive producer Christopher Loyd the new Manny has bigger plans than just taking care of baby. Loyd says, "He wants to sort of revive the entire household". Which, of course, could lead to some tension between him and the other Manny of the house. Don't miss the new season of Modern Family when it premieres Wednesday, September 25th on ABC.

Another Manny On 'Modern Family'?!

Are two Mannys too many for the Pritchett-Delgado household? We'll find out on ABC's Modern Family when Gloria (Sofia Vergara) hires a cute new male nanny to look after baby Joe. Adam DeVine (Comedy Central's Workaholics, Pitch Perfect) has been cast in the recurring role. Executive producer Christopher Lloyd describes the manny as a nice guy from the Midwest who is "fun and matches Gloria's energy in the house. But he doesn't want to just take care of the baby. He wants to sort of revive the entire household, which leads to some territorial clashes with Jay [Ed O'Neill] and Manny [Rico Rodriguez]."

The "Modern Family" star challenges the hit reality competition's current batch of young designers to create a look based on his line of bow ties, Tie The Knot, proceeds from which are donated towards marriage equality. Ferguson also serves as the guest judge for the bow tie-inspired challenge and according to GLAAD, one of the designers is so inspired, he proposes to his boyfriend of 18 years during the judging ceremony.
