Nancy Drew is a feature film released on June 15, 2007 in the U.S., loosely based on the popular series of mystery novels about the titular teen detective. In this new movie, teen detective Nancy Drew accompanies her father on a business trip to Los Angeles, where she happens upon clues to a murder mystery involving a movie star. It stars Emma Roberts as Nancy Drew, Kay Panabaker as George, Amy Bruckner as Bess Marvin, and Max Thieriot as Ned. The film is rated PG for mild violence, thematic elements and brief language. Set in Los Angeles, it was directed by Andrew Fleming.

Based on characters created by Carolyn Keene, 'Nancy Drew' follows Nancy (Emma Roberts) as she accompanies her father, Carson Drew (Tate Donovan), to Los Angeles on one of his business trips and stumbles across evidence about a long-unsolved crime involving the mysterious death of a beautiful movie star.
