Nikita: Maggie Q and Shane West on What's to Come

Like the rest of my fellow   Nikita   fans, I was extremely happy to learn that the show had been renewed for a second season. On the heels of that renewal announcement, I spoke to   Nikita   stars  Maggie Q   and   Shane West   at CW's Upfront last week in New York, to get their thoughts on the end of   Season 1   and where Season 2   could take their characters. And, as you'll see, to talk about Members Only jackets!   Read More... http://tv.ign.com/articles/117/1170651p1.html?RSSwhen2011-05-25_232700&RSSid=1170651&utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=feed&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+ignfeeds%2Ftv+%28IGN+TV%29

Nikita Season 2 Spoilers

Nikita  fans were thrilled to learn that the show had been renewed for a second season after essentially being "on the bubble".  They may be less thrilled to learn that  Nikita  has been moved to Friday nights at 8:00 p.m., but  Smallville  and Supernatural  have both done well on that night and it's better than the show being canceled!  (view the complete CW 2011-2012 schedule  here ). Thanks to The CW, we have our first small batch of spoilers for season 2 of  Nikita.  When we last saw everyone, Nikita and Michael had driven off with one of Percy's black boxes, while Alex and Nikita had parted ways after Alex learned that Nikita had physically killed her father.  Alex seemed determined to hunt down the people who ordered the hit on her family, but she was side-tracked by Amanda, who has now joined Oversight and wants Alex to come with for her. 'Hellcats' canceled, 'Nikita' Season 2 picked up by The CW

We've got good news, and we've got bad news. The bad news is that The CW's freshman series "Hellcats" has been canceled, as first reported by Deadline. The cheerleading drama, executive produced by "Smallville" star Tom Welling and Kevin Murphy and led by former Disney stars Ashley Tisdale and Aly Michalka was one of Zap2it's early favorites in the 2010-2011 season.Unfortunately, the series floundered undeniably in its back nine episodes, relying heavily on gimmicks (like Zombies and musical numbers) and stunt casting (A.J. Michalka and Ciara) and shelving the intriguing love triangle that was the heart of the initial episodes. With this cancellation, The CW makes room for three new dramas - "The Ringer," "Secret Circle," and "Hart of Dixie" - and (here's the good news) can hang onto "Nikita," its only other drama from the 2010-2011 season. "Nikita's" first season ended on May 12 on a creative high, launching a bold storyline that will... http://blog.zap2it.com/frominsidethebox/2011/05/hellcats-canceled-nikita-season-2-picked-up-by-the-cw.html

Nikita's Lyndsy Fonseca: Yes, Someone Dies in the Finale

Over the course of its first season, Nikita has become a show about loss and difficult choices as much as espionage and violence. It's no surprise then that one of the principal characters meets a Division-related demise on Thursday's finale (9/8c on the CW). "Yes, someone dies," Lyndsy Fonseca confirms to TVGuide.com. "Everything that happens in the finale is not just for the sake of killing people or for the sake of a good storyline. Stuff has been kind of brewing for a long time, and I think it's going to be really emotional." Read More... http://www.tvguide.com/News/Nikita-Finale-Lyndsy-Fonseca-1032976.aspx?rss=breakingnews
