It's a week after the school festival. Junpei meets a weird delivery girl named Chizuru, who not only can't find her way out of her paper bag, but she also behaves like a perverted old man! Junpei ends up having to guide Chizuru around town, and fulfilling the wishes of the cats at their destinations. At the end of the day, Chizuru gives him a big hug for his help - but Kaede sees it! What will happen to Junpei?

Junpei Kousaka is a second-year high school student who despises cats and has an allergy to them. It just so happens that his high school crush is Kaede Mizuno, a girl who adores cats. One day, while walking home from school, Junpei kicks an empty can and unfortunately beans the local neko-jizou-sama (guardian deity of cats). He finds he can now understand what cats are saying, including his family's own ill-tempered cat, Nyamusasu. However, if he does not grant 100 wishes from cats, he will turn into cat himself.
Nyankoi! Summary
Nyankoi! is a high school romantic comedy aimed squarely at cat lovers. Our hero, Junpei Kousaka, is a normal high school student who hates cats and is allergic to them to boot. One day, the ailurophobic Junpei finds out that he has angered the local cat god with his actions, and in order to appease the god, he has to fulfill the wishes of a hundred cats or he'll turn into a cat himself! His newfound ability to understand cats will help him on his quest, but he still has to get over his hatred of cats before it's too late - and hopefully, he can win the heart of his classmate, Kaede Mizuno, in the process.
