Contestants on this ABC show are quizzed about their knowledge of their family members for cash prizes. Ashton Kutcher's production company is the force behind this alternative project. The series has 13 episodes ordered so far.

About What would you do if there was a knock at your door and you opened it to find an entire game show in front of you, along with an audience made up of your neighbors and friends? And what if you were given the opportunity to have a family game night where you could win hundreds of thousands of dollars and amazing prizes that could change your life?

In the new one-hour show, Opportunity Knocks, that chance is realized when one lucky family is brought together each week to play the game of a lifetime.

The instant that host JD Roth knocks on a family's front door in Anywhere, America, the mobile Opportunity Knocks team will be there in a semi-truck filled with prizes. They will literally set up shop on a family's front lawn. It's there that an audience made up of neighbors and friends will be cheering them on.

Roth will ask the family trivia questions based directly on their lives, each other and articles found in and around their home. In order to win the prizes of their dreams, they will have to prove they know each other inside and out.

Additionally, there will be interactive challenges for the family members, where the TV camera will be taken directly into the contestants' home.

When the families in Opportunity Knocks come together for their weekly game night, anything can happen as they move toward their prize-winning goal. Whatever the outcome, the biggest reward will be the experience they share as a family, the opportunity to bring a neighborhood together and the bonds that will be strengthened.
