Season 5, Episode 58 - "Tie One On!"

Ash and friends watch as Macey and Jackson, the two other trainers from Ash's division, battle. Macey pulls off a victory. Her victory now puts her and Ash at a tie in their division. The only match left is Ash vs. Jackson, and in order to break the tie and win his division he must tie or beat Jackson. When it comes time to start the battle, Ash quickly learns that although Jackson comes off as a clumsy and goofy trainer, he is very strong and Ash must battle strategically if he wants to defeat Jackson and win his division.
