With the victory tournament set to start, the trainers in the Silver Conference are given a day off. As the matches are selected, Ash finds out he will be going up against his long time rival Gary. Brock has Liza send Charizard so that Ash can use it in his battle. Ash is determined to beat Gary and studies his team as hard as he can. The next day the battle between the two long time rivals begins, but who will win?
