Season 6, Episode 27 - "A Three Team Scheme"

Ash and his friends are walking along a beach when they encounter Professor Birch. The Professor is on the island researching. They decide to go look in a cave and accidentally stumble upon a Pokémon Trainer's Secret Base. The boy quickly chases them out. Team Rocket then comes by and take over the base to use it for their Hoenn base of operations. Meanwhile, Team Aqua and Team Magma both arrive on the island in search of ancient artifacts needed for their goals.
