Postal is a 2007 film based on the 2003 computer game Postal. In the ironically named city of Paradise, a recently laid-off loser (Ward) teams up with his cult-leading uncle (Foley) to steal a peculiar bounty of riches from their local amusement park; somehow, the recently arrived Taliban have a similar focus, but a far more sinister intent... The film is directed by Uwe Boll, and filmed in Cloverdale, British Columbia. Postal was premiered in Montreal on July 22, 2007 during the Fantasia Festival. Trailers for the film have been posted on YouTube and the film's website generating contorversy as they show a jet flying into the South Tower of the World Trade Center, reminiscent of the September 11, 2001 attacks.
