The Most Important Shows on TV: Week of November 23, 2015

Which TV series will your friends (and the entire internet) be talking about this week? Stay informed—or at least be able to fake it — with SideReel's weekly guide to The Most Important Shows on TV.   Pretty Little Liars Tuesday at 8:00pm on ABC Family Why: We're going behind the scenes of Rosewood! We find out what the Liars have been up to, why we should still care about them after the big A reveal, and, I don't know, some other stuff, probably. What isn't fascinating about the Liars? Also, it's Thanksgiving week and there isn't a ton on, so please just dealwithit.gif! Prepare to talk about: Whose hair is the best (obviously this is going to be the only question to ask about this show now that we're done with A); whether they're still Pretty Little Liars or if now the show should be called Pretty Grownup Truthtellers because really, they should have learned their lesson by now; whether they have, in fact, learned their lesson (of course they haven't); whether the next villain will be named B.   National Dog Show Thursday at 12:00pm on NBC Why: Dogs! Big dogs! Small dogs! Terrier dogs (I hear god loves them )! Also it's not like you have a ton more to do as you wait to gorge on your domestic fowl other than talk to people (ugh, why), so spend some time with John O'Hurley and some canine companions. Prepare to talk about: Ruff ruff ruff ruff ruff ruff ruff ruff ruff ruff ruff ruff ruff ruff ruff ruff ruff? Ruff ruff ruff ruff; growl! Yip? Yip yip yip; arooooooooooooooooooooooooooo. (Alternately, if you're my cat, then just swat feebly at at the television and make a sound like you're a pack-a-day smoker.)   The Walking Dead (Midseason Finale) Sunday at 9:00pm on AMC Why: It's the midseason finale, so might it be the end of Rick & Co.'s terrible, horrible, no good, very bad f**king day? Let's hope so; they deserve a day where nothing goes wrong. Poor kids. Then again, we'll probably be left with a really gut-wrenching cliffhanger, right? Something that will make us want to just throw our hands up and say, "That's it! We're DONE!" except we won't be. We won't ever be. Just like Rick & Co. are never done. Life goes on. Death goes on. Undeath goes on. Sigh. Pass the leftover Stove Top please. Prepare to talk about: Why doesn't anyone call the walkers zombies? Have they never seen zombie movies in The Walking Dead universe? Also, who will die? And for real, where's the rest of the Stove Top?     Leah E. Friedman  is the editor of SideReel.com. You can follow her musings on  Twitter . div.post p { text-align: justify; }
