In a two-hour Grey's Anatomy special near the end of this season, viewers were given a preview of what was to come from Private Practice as Addison headed to L.A. to, who guessed it, a private practice where some old friends work. In this special, Addison decided she wanted a change in her life which included having a baby on her own after a failed marriage and even a failed affair. Unforutnately, though, Addison discovers it's not her but her eggs who are failing this time. So, she's ready for a change indeed as she'll take off from Seattle Grace for a whole new set of friends, crazy medical cases, and of course, new romantic entanglements!

Summary
Private Practice Premiere: September 26, 2007 Status: Returns October 1, 2008 Private Practice is a Grey's Anatomy spin-off starring Kate Walsh. Premiering Fall 2007 on ABC. She will continue to play her Grey's character, Dr. Addison Montgomery, but with a big move from gloomy Seattle to sunny L.A.
