Does anyone else think it's incredibly cruel to take something that someone loves, give it to someone else to destroy and then tell you that you're going home? I do - and I think PR should be pulled up about this caper. It means that someone potentially came to NY, had their fave item destroyed (though anyone who brings anyone nice to this show now must need their head looked) and then get sent home the same day with nothing but a space in their wardrobe. It's just nasty, not funny, and a bit sad to watch. I remember one time they did this someone's posession was a family heirloom. I'd just have insisted on handing it back.

Geesh, I had liked Jay, and many of his designs, throughout the 7th season...........however after watching the reunion show I have no interest in following his career or wish him success in the future. I can't remember the model's name......but he directed a terribly mean comment to her... stating that he would never hire a model with bad teeth and heavy legs!! What an ASS!! I see him differently now..........as a pouty little boy with body issues of his own...he doesn't see. I have lost all respect for him as a designer.......and even as a person!! julie Oh yeah, Seth Aaron......CONGRATS....from Birch Bay, Washington!!
Ewww. Mila's collection was old and ugly and I would not wear any of them except the first jacket that we saw. None of the stuff we saw was original or unique. All those designs have been seen and done before. Plus - it was another black and white collection. NO COLORS. come on!! Jay's was unique and very well designed. He could have easily toned down his collection for the final runway show. I loved his clothes and I could not believe that the judges chose Mila's Horrendous collection over Jay's. I'm actually disgusted with this entire season. It is clearly fixed and the judges obviously have certain designers that are their favorites and no matter what they do, they don't get voted out. Jay was robbed tonight and I've decided that I am not watching this show any more.
Bad decision after bad decision on the judge's part has left me with this decision. In last night's episode, Emilio was without a doubt the best there was. His dress was absolutely amazing and he was right...no one even came close to it. The judges made the right call there...but that was so obvious that even they couldn't screw it up. Seth Aaron has been an amazing designer throughout his competition, but last night, his outfit WAS a costume. It was over the top and it did not fit well. Did you see the pants?? If any other designer has made them (Jonathan or Amy or even Jay), the judge's would have voted them out without a seconds hesitation, but because it was the godly Seth Aaron, only Michael Kors commented about it and made it into a joke. It has never been a joke before when a designer made terrible pants, but this time, it was. The politics and judge's favourites are being made very obvious and its quite disgusting. Anthony's outfit was pretty bad and he did deserve to get eliminated....so that was another good call by the judges. But he deserved to go this time, because his was the worst...the last time when he was eliminated, it was the wrong call..Mila should have gone then. That brings me to Mila. Ok, her jacket was pretty good, in fact, it was better than Seth Aarons ridiculously over-the-top outfit for sure, but the pink pants and the green top? Badly made and terrible material choices. I agree that based on just the jacket she should have stayed in the competition, but until now she has pulled out lame outfit after lame outfit, so she shouldn't have been here in the first place!! But whatever. She did not deserve to be third tonight, she should have been second-to-last. Jay's outfit tonight was amazing too. Yes, it wasn't the unbelievable dress that Emilio made, but you could clearly see the inspiration of the circus. His pants were perfect and fitted amazingly and even the black top underneath was perfectly made. His outfit was classy and definitely better than Seth Aaron's tonight but since the judge's are in love with Seth and don't seem to like Jay, they chose to put Jay as 4th. The only good decision they made was keeping him in the competiton. If he had left last night I would have been fuming. I think the final three should have been Emilio as number 1, Jay as number 2 and Seth Aaron as number 3. Mila and Anthony should have gone home. This season has been terrible on project runway. The judges clearly had their favorites from the beginning and they kept the people they liked around whether or not they made good clothes that week. After watching how political, catty and unfair it has become, Ive decided that I am going finish out this season because I want to see who will win (Although, right now, I don't think there is really gonna be much of a surprise - its pretty obvious who the best is) but I refuse to watch any season after this. Until the judges decide to actually be fair, I'm done with this show.
Why is it that 15-30 mins after most shows are aired they can be watched online but this one (and Project Runway even Survivor sometimes!) always take so long to be added!!!!!!! I understand that less popular shows don't show up on the web as fast (like 18 to Life and Legend of the Seeker) but this quite well knowen and to my knowledge still a fair amount popular show sometimes isn't up until the next morning!!!! I don't have a working TV so I watch all my shows online so if a show is over at 9pm I start looking at about 9:30pm and by now (12:15am) I am starting to get mad that it isn't up yet! Anyways I was just wondering.... thanks for letting me rant! lol!
This is the third time this season that most viewers disagreed with the judge's decision about who should go home and who should win the challenges. Emilio's print this week was amateur and his in his final design - the jacket was not at all flattering and the dress was just basic. He shouldn't have left this week based on that design but he definitely shouldn't have won. 3rd place I would have been ok with. Maya's design on the other hand was flattering and unique and even the judges said that her print was the best. She went out of her comfort zone and did fantastic and the judges didn't reward her. Very disappointing. Seth Aaron and Jay were the only 2 correct decisions this time. Seth Aaron deserved second place to Maya's first and Jay was perfectly safe. In the final three Mila's outfit was definitely the worst this week. It was ugly and unflattering and nothing about it was original at all and yet, she was 3rd from the bottom, not even in the bottom 2!!!! Ridiculous. Mila should have been the one to go last night. In fact, she should have gone a long time ago. She's more of a one trick pony than Anthony was and yet Anthony got voted out for that exact reason last night. The judge's mocking and rudeness with Jonathan was unnecessary and cruel and he had every right to be angry. I actually liked his print and his dress was DEFINITELY better than Mila's. The jacket was ugly, and did look a little like a straight jacket, but Michael Kors mocking when Jonathan put the jacket back on his model Kerri was disgusting and rude and I lost a lot of respect for him then. This is the third time this season that the judges have made really bad calls on the designers. I'm going to watch how the rest of this season plays out just because I want to see who will win, but after that - I'm done with Project Runway. They just lost a loyal fan because of their stupid politics.
WHAT????? The judges have lost it! Emilio had even given up on himself!! He basically sent out a naked model out on the runway with bits of metal covering her precious areas. At least Jesse put clothes on his model!! I am extremely pissed off at the judge's decision and I'm absolutely delighted that Jesse didnt try to hide his annoyance. He did not deserve to go home and he knew it and he definitely showed it. Brilliant!! Worst part is that after sending out the naked model, Emilio dumps her and picks someone else!! Talk about crappy behavior! Last season the judges made similar stupid decisions about sending people home and this season they are doing the same. This show is going down the crapper fast, unless they make some drastic changes about being fair... I also think thay Amy's sandpaper outfit was WAY better than Mila's color blocking black-and-white thing. She should have been in third place, Maya should have been second and Jay definitely deserved the win on that one. (The only right decision the judges made this episode) Project runway is falling apart...we need new judges!
Irina's is too dark, I'd have to agree with Nina; nobody want's to see all black walking down the runway. I think little pops of color would be good for her collection, maybe colored shoes? That would make a splash...if it hasn't been done before. And the boyfriend shirts are an Okay idea but it they were like "yeah, this was my boyfriends shirt, but I cut it and sewed it and now I look awesome" I think if those shirts had that attitude, they could be great. I like where Althea's ideas are, but I don't know how well she'll execute them. She seems to be the type that will over work pieces that could have been great it they were simpler. Carol Hannah's collection is too evening, She said "Evening Flair" but really come on, a little too much. I'd have to say if I was in favor of one of them, it would be Althea. She has a concept and I'm liking it, now she just needs to pull it together and Make. It. Work.
I am so disappointed with this season. It's the LAST challenge, you're suppose to give your all; and what did these contestants do? They miss the mark by miles. I am still in shock over this challenge, I would expect this for a first challenge but not the last, everything was so bland and just not all together. Now I can't wait for the next two episodes too see if these "designers" can even create a collection worth fashion week.
