Prom Night is an upcoming remake of the classic 1980s horror film that starred Jamie Lee Curtis. The story: Donna's senior prom is supposed to be the best night of her life, though a sadistic killer from her past has different plans for her and her friends. The film is directed by Nelson McCormick and stars Brittany Snow. On December 6, 2007, the MPAA rated the film with a PG-13 for violence and terror, some sexual material, underage drinking, and language. The film is expected to be released April 11, 2008.

I thought that was a great movie. Very suspenseful but it was a tad bit to predictable. Overall though i would definetly recommend this film to anyone looking for a scream or two.

Donna's(Brittany Snow) senior prom is supposed to be the best night of her life, one of magic, beauty, and love. Surrounded by her best friends, she should be safe from the horrors of her tragic past. But when the night turns from magic to murder there is only one man who could be responsible, the man she thought was gone, locked away forever, her former obsessed teacher placed in jail that had recently escaped. Now, Donna and her friends must find a way to escape the sadistic rampage of an obsessed killer, and survive their own Prom Night. Brittany Snow has recently stated in an interview, a more extended plot. "It's just taking the same name as 'Prom Night' the original, but it's a different script. It's actually more in the vein of Fear, with Reese Witherspoon and Mark Wahlberg."
