Khloe Kardashian fell victim to the Punk’d crew earlier this season, but MTV called in the big guns when it came time to prank Kim Kardashian, E!’s biggest reality star. 'Punk'd: Kim Kardashian's Strange Reaction To Ashton Kutcher's Prank

For a special installment of "Punk'd" (Sun., 8 p.m. ET on MTV) that aired before the "2012 MTV Movie Awards," Ashton Kutcher took control of the show that he first made into a cultural phenomenon. And he targeted one of the most famous personalities in pop culture in Kim Kardashian. But first, he went for a major name in music, and someone who was very aware of the show, and thus needed to be handled carefully. Kutcher was very excited to try and pull one over on Drake, and he went big with a staged earthquake in a parking garage. The prank went off perfectly, and Drake was both thrilled and not-at-all-amused by Kutcher taking him down a notch. But while Drake was screaming and very animated during his prank, Kardashian had a much different response. She spends the majority of her prank in the car, texting or talking on her phone, acting almost as if exploding gas stations and watching Scott Disick get arrested after accusing a fan of stealing his wallet happen all the time in her world. Kutcher was satisfied with the results, and particularly in the success of his elaborate Drake prank. And so, he once again retired his hat and prepared to hand the reins of "Punk'd" off to other people should it's new incarnation continue. Ashton Kutcher's 'Punk'd' return: Drake and Kim Kardashian get played

Ashton Kutcher reclaimed his "Punk'd" throne Sunday (June 3) before the MTV Movie Awards -- and we have to say, based on the little bit we've seen of the reincarnated, Bieber-ized show, Kutcher's return was a welcome one.Kutcher targeted rapper Drake and Kim Kardashian in two pranks, and Drake proved to be a much better target.Drake was told he was being taken to a meeting with Vice President Joe Biden, and once he and his fake Secret Service escort got to an underground parking garage, Kutcher and Co. staged an earthquake. A couple of aftershocks and a Tasered pregnant woman later, Kutcher ambushed Drake, who was suitably humiliated/impressed at the scale of the prank. He also got the funniest line of the special: "So we're not meeting the vice president?" (Sorry, Drake's mom.)Kardashian, meanwhile, had a run-in with a "superfan" at a gas station (with a little help from Scott Disick), which almost didn't go...

'Punk'd': Derek Hough Pranks Sis Julianne Hough

"Twilight" star Kellan Lutz took over " Punk'd " (Thu., 10 p.m. ET on MTV) for the week, and immediately targeted some of his Hollywood friends. He enlisted three-time "Dancing with the Stars" champ Derek Hough to help prank his sister Julianne . The set-up was pretty simple, with Derek getting out of the car to move an obstruction, and then pretending to fall into a quagmire and get stuck. Julianne certainly fell for it, though she didn't get into the muck to try and help her brother. In fact, she stayed remarkably clean throughout, considering how messy the stunt was. Lutz also took target on Ashley Rickards (" Awkward. "), who was tricked into thinking she'd caused a hose to spill chemicals all over an innocent passerby. She even got down and dirty, trying to help him throw up. As for his third prank, it kind of fell apart when Aimee Teegarden recognized her stage dad encounter as a "bad episode" of "Punk'd." Series creator and original host Ashton Kutcher returns to show how it's done on the one-hour season finale of "Punk'd," next Thursday at 10 p.m. ET on MTV.
