Jason Lee Rocks Raising Hope

Memphis Beat's Jason Lee brings some '80s glam into the lives of the Chance family on the November 30 episode of Fox's Raising Hope. He plays musician Smokey Floyd, who headlines the local market's "Grocery-Palooza" concert, much to the thrill of Burt (Garret Dillahunt). "Jason plays this sort of aging, falling-apart, former hair-band lead singer," says Martha Plimpton. "He comes to town to help rescue my husband, who's always wanted to play in a band." Lee, who's reteaming with Hope creator Greg Garcia (who also created Lee's 2005—2009 sitcom My Name Is Earl), spent hours in the makeup chair to get Smokey's worn-out look. "You probably won't be able to recognize him," says Plimpton. "He looks incredible!" Source Here

Details About Amy Sedaris' Guest Spot on 'Raising Hope' (VIDEO)

Amy Sedaris is one of those rare women who can light up a room and make you laugh out loud, even when she's playing a completely horrible character. Best known as Jerri Blank, the middle-aged ex-junkie in her so-wrong-it's-hysterical 'Strangers With Candy,' Sedaris has popped up on some very fun TV shows recently, including 'The Middle,' 'The Closer' and an upcoming stint on 'Royal Pains.' Next stop: 'Raising Hope,' Fox's freshman hit sitcom (Tuesdays, 9PM ET). To Read More Click Here.

Why We Love Raising Hope's Cloris Leachman

She plays Raising Hope's Maw-Maw, the addled but still vivacious great-great-grandmother in what Leachman calls a "zany, off-the-wall, dysfunctional, in fact typical American family." Adds the 84-year-old, "I read the script and love [creator] Greg Garcia, so how could I resist?" In tonight's episode, baby Hope gets sick — so naturally, they lock Maw-Maw in a bedroom and feed her through a funnel in the door to prevent her from falling ill as well. To Read More Click here.

Raising Hope's Shannon Woodward: Sabrina Won't Stay on a Pedestal Forever

Ever since Jimmy (Lucas Neff) first met Sabrina (Shannon Woodward) behind the check stand on Raising Hope, the new father has regarded the object of his affection as close to perfect. But around the Chance family, that won't hold true for long. "The truth is that nobody can stay on a pedestal too long with [creator] Greg Garcia writing their character," Woodward tells "Sabrina's idiosyncrasies and ridiculousness will start showing their teeth soon. She's just as kooky as the rest of them, just in a completely different way." To Read More Click Here.
