Maurice Jobson holds a press conference about a recent 10 year old missing school girl, Hazel Atkins, who disappeared on her way home from school; the case is being linked to the disappearance and murder of Clare Kemplay in 1974. They employ the help of a local medium named Mandy Wymer who foresees that Hazel's disappearance is indeed linked with the case of Clare Kemplay.

Red Riding Summary
This crime trilogy follows Eddie Dunford (Andrew Garfield), a journalist for the Yorkshire press, who is assigned to the case of a missing girl, along with the Yorkshire police department, Eddie finds himself involved in what seems to be a spate of brutal murders in a series of similar investigations in 1974, 1980 and 1983, spanning the eras of the IRA bombings, the Yorkshire Ripper, Thatcher's reign and the Falklands war.
