Ross is back at the main ISAF (International Security Assistance Force, a NATO-led security and development mission in Afghanistan) base after several exhausting missions in Musa Qaleh. The British troops at the ISAF base include 5 Scots, 2 Scots and the Royal Irish Regiment. However the majority of the troops are members of the fledgling Afghan National Army (ANA). The ANA's job is to maintain the security of the base and the area surrounding Musa Qaleh.
