SAILOR MOON BEST ANIME
Ever since I first started watching Sailor Moon when I was about 2 I absolutely LOVED IT!! Now that I am able to watch it again and remind myself of the childhood favourite, I still am in love with it even at the age of 16 :P

I like the original episodes (with the English subtitles included of coarse)... It gives it more of a home-y/originality feeling to it, and on the bright side, I learn bits and pieces of phrases in a new language. Which is always nice.... Anyways ...

Dic raped the Sailor Moon property when they brought it to the states with bad acting and a mutilation of the stories and Characters. Sailor Moon is not named Serena, she is Usagai... USE THEIR REAL NAMES NOT THEIR MUTILATED AMERICAN NAMES.

One day, Usagi Tsukino, clumsy 2nd-year middle school student (8th grader), stumbles upon a talking cat named Luna. Luna tells her that she is destined to be Sailor Moon, "champion of love and justice", and she must search for the fabled Moon Princess. Usagi finds friends that turn out to be destined senshi as well, and together they fight to save the world from the certain doom brought upon by the Dark Kingdom (Queen Beryl, the generals, Metallia).

The Sailor Moon anime series was co-produced by TV Asahi, Toei Agency and Toei Animation. It is based on the manga series of the same name by Naoko Takeuchi, and in fact started airing only a month after the first issue of the manga was published. It is the best-known component of the Sailor Moon franchise.
