Samantha Jade is a Pop/R&B singer from Perth, Australia. She wrote and performed the title track to the 2006 dance/romance film Step Up. She is currently working on a full album to be released later in 2007. Her expected single is titled "Turn Around" and should be released to radio in July. Jade was also featured in the 2007 GLAMOUR Reel Music contest but unfortunately did not win. The winner, Paula Campbell received a video directed by Grammy Award-winning artist Ciara. This year, she will perform at the Australian Urban Music Awards.
