In the premiere episode, the 12 contestants head to Los Angeles where they will compete for $100,000 and a chance to prove they are “Shear Genius.†The 12 hair stylists are challenged to perform a haircut while blindfolded. Also, they must shape clients hair in the shape of famous cartoon characters.
