Simon Woods (born 1980) is an English actor best known for his role as Octavian in the British-American 2005 television series Rome.

He attended Eton College, then read English at Magdalen College, Oxford. Woods filmed Pride & Prejudice with Rosamund Pike, an ex-girlfriend. Joe Wright mentioned in an interview how professional both the actors were during filming.

He recently starred as Dr Harrison in the BBC1 costume drama series Cranford, whose arrival in the village "sets female hearts racing."
