Which TV series will your friends (and the entire internet) be talking about this week? Stay informed—or at least be able to fake it—with SideReel's weekly guide to The Most Important Shows on TV. Under the Dome Monday at 10:00pm on CBS Why: Honestly? Because it's like watching Lost if watching Lost required little to no brainpower. It's enjoyably dopey, and kind of amazing to see how much plot has been wrung out of a bunch of people being stuck UNDER A DOME. Prepare to talk about: The magical egg's magical powers; how Big Jim is an evil non-genius; how long you'd survive UNDER THE DOME; whether this show can really be stretched to a third season. So You Think You Can Dance (Season Finale) Wednesday at 8pm on FOX Why: This is the strongest final four in years, and watching Ricky (who will probably win) is a feast for the eyes. Prepare to talk about: How Cat Deeley is probably the best host in the business (sorry, Seacrest); how Ricky was the obvious winner from his first audition; and how much Sonya Tayeh's routines will be missed next year. Utopia (Series Premiere) Sunday at 8pm on FOX Why: Well, 15 people are getting dumped in a pristine wilderness (or, at the very least, an undeveloped plot of land) to create their ideal society. LOL, OK. Watch for the inevitable crash and burn. Prepare to talk about: Who is mostly likely to stir s**t up; what kind of society you, the armchair quarterback/psychiatrist would create; and why anyone would agree to this, for real. Leah E.
