Mia Michaels To Replace Mary Murphy as a Judge on SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE

It seems that Mary Murphy won't be returning as a judge on Season 7 of SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE. Fox has just announced that Mia Michaels would replace her and join Adam Shankman and Nigel Lythgoe as a resident judge this season. "I am extremely happy that Mia and Adam have returned and agreed to be resident judges," said Nigel Lythgoe, executive producer/co-creator, SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE. "Mia's outspoken approach combined with Adam's passion will definitely add a fresh new chemistry to the panel." So You Think You Can Dance Returns to Summer

After a fall run with lower season-ending ratings, So You Think You Can Dance is returning to summer, premiering May 27 at 8/7c. The fall finale of the Fox series, hosted by Cat Deeley, drew 7.1 million viewers, down from Season 5's summer finale that saw 7.8 million viewers tuning in, a 6 percent growth over the previous summer season.
