Son Of Rambow

Son of Rambow is a 2008 film written and directed by Garth Jennings. Set on a long English summer in the early 8O's, Son Of Rambow is a comedy about friendship, faith and the weird business of growing up.The film was shown as part of the Premieres category at the 2007 Sundance Film Festival and was later shown at the 51st BFI London Film Festival (2007). Son of Rambow is a project that Garth Jennings and Nick Goldsmith Ã?¢ââ??‰â?¬ï¿½ collectively known as Hammer and Tongs Ã?¢ââ??‰â?¬ï¿½ have been working on for some years. In fact its development was interrupted when they were asked to make The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, and it will be their second major feature film. It was inspired by Garth's own experiences as a child in the 1980s, when video equipment first became available to ordinary people.
