Harold Perrineau on His New Sons of Anarchy Character: "You Don't Want Him on Your Bad Side"

Harold Perrineau is getting in touch with his meaner side this season on Sons of Anarchy . The season opener (Tuesday, Sept. 11, 10/9c, FX) will find the former Oz and Lost actor playing Damon Pope, a dangerous adversary for the club — understandable, given that SAMCRO was responsible for the death of his daughter last season. Perrineau spoke with TV Guide Magazine about the perils of crossing his SOA character and still being "That Guy From Lost ."

Sons of Anarchy's Ron Perlman Talks Clay's Undoing

After four seasons of gravel-voiced domination, the reign of King Clay has come to an end on Sons of Anarchy . When the series starts its fifth season on Tuesday, Sept. 11 (10/9c, FX), stepson Jax ( Charlie Hunnam ) will be at the head of the SAMCRO table, though Clay will still be prowling the sidelines. Countdown to Sons of Anarchy Part One - "Sovereign"

In exactly one week Sons of Anarchy will kick off its fifth season on FX, and to help prepare you for the return of one of television's best Dramas, ever, TVOvermind will be running a series of articles offering a spoiler lite look into the themes, plot, and characters of what I feel will be the best season ever of SOA.  Let's start with a single word:  "Sovereign". How different? Well, let's just say that Damon Pope's method of distributing power has to be seen to be appreciated. Read More...

'Sons of Anarchy' Season 5 pictures: Jax at the head of the table

The fifth-season premiere of "Sons of Anarchy" will introduce SAMCRO's new adversary, but there's also a lot of unresolved tension within the club in the wake of last season's events.Season 5 picks up a couple weeks after Opie (Ryan Hurst) shot Clay (Ron Perlman) and set off a realignment of the power. Jax (Charlie Hunnam) is now the president -- you can see the patch on his vest -- but the old adage "uneasy lies the head that wears the crown" definitely applies here. The photos FX has released from the episode are mostly tight closeups of SAMCRO members sitting around the table, but there are also a couple shots of Harold Perrineau ("Lost") as Damon Pope, a well-dressed Oakland gangster who has it out for the club after Tig (Kim Coates) inadvertently killed Pope's daughter at the end of last season.Speaking of Tig, this shot suggests he's pretty aware of the turmoil surrounding the club.Clay,...
