Space Chimps is an upcoming computer-animated film produced by Vanguard Animation and Starz Media and to be released by 20th Century Fox on July 2, 2008. The film is directed by Kirk De Micco, producer Barry Sonnenfeld and starring the voices of Andy Samberg, Jeff Daniels, Cheryl Hines, Kenan Thompson, Stanley Tucci, Kristin Chenoweth and Patrick Warburton. On December 19, 2007, the film was moved from May 2 to July 18 mainly because of the 2007-2008 Writers Guild of America strike.
