It looks like Sam and Dean aren't the only stars of Supernatural. Ed Zeddmore and Harry Spangler, the stars of Ghostfacers, will soon take center stage as they appear in their own show. The spin-off, however, comes in the form of a web series which will initially run as 10 three-minute episodes on The CW website, according to Variety. Supernatural fans have come to know Ed and Harry as the boys from the website Hell Hound's Lair. Both are self proclaimed "professional" paranormal investigators who appear on their so-called reality TV series Ghost Ghostfacers, which was featured in the episodes "Hell House," "Ghostfacers," and "It's A Terrible Life." The Supernatural spin-off will follow the Ghostfacers as they investigate haunted occurences, shot documentary-style. CSI: NY's A.J. Buckley and Travis Wester will reprise their roles as the Ghostfacers, and will also be writing the webisodes. Brittany Ishibashi (E-Ring) and Austin Basis (Life Unexpected) round out the Ghostfacers team. "It felt like the nature and style of what they do with their show-within-a-show would be fun to see in new media," said Wonderland TV topper Peter Johnson. "It's a fun, subversive way to allow these characters to play in the margins." Though production is ongoing in Los Angeles, a premiere date has yet to be announced. According to Variety, the first installment revolves around a theater haunted by the specter of a starlet, played by Nip/Tuck's Kelly Carlson. Eric Kripke will serve as executive producer with Peter Johnson, Jeff Grosvenor and Phil Sgriccia. Source Here
It hasn't exactly been easy for Supernatural fans to mull over the fact that they have to bid farewell to Sam and Dean eventually. As you may have heard, series creator Eric Kripke's contract ends after the fifth season, and has, over the years, planned for the show to wrap up at the end of this season. But it's also no secret that Kripke has recently shown interest in continuing the story of the Winchester brothers and that Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles already have contracts for a sixth season. Though nothing official has been made by The CW, Cinemaspy is reporting that Supernatural has been renewed for another season. While seeing Sam and Dean for another season is good news, some fans feel like the show should go out with a bang as it concludes with Sam and Dean confronting the Devil in a final showdown this season. Meanwhile, Kripke isn't necessarily out of ideas. However, it's a little hard to imagine what season 6 would look like, if and when the network decides to pick up Supernatural for one more year. Will it be an entirely new chapter for the Winchester brothers, as Kripke previously hinted? Or will it be an extension of the apocalypse storyline? Or perhaps the aftermath of Lucifer's defeat? Again, nothing's official yet. Source Here
The guest star bonanza for Supernatural continues with two actors who are very well known to sci-fi fans. One will be a new guest star while the other is a return appearance for a memorable Supernatural character we've already seen. SPOILER WARNING: This article contains info about upcoming episodes of Supernatural. First, Mark Sheppard announced via Twitter that he'll be returning as Crowley, the mysterious Crossroads Demon who wanted to help the Winchesters kill Lucifer. You'll also recognize Sheppard from Battlestar Galactica, Dollhouse, 24 and upcoming episodes of Leverage and Chuck. In other words, as I said the first time he was on Supernatural, getting Mark Sheppard is like cementing your place in the land of TV awesomeness. In other Supernatural casting news, TV Guide Magazine reports that Stargate actor Michael Shanks will soon show up on Supernatural for his own guest role. Shanks will play Rico, a man in a local militia dedicated to a cause. Hopefully that cause is stopping the Apocalypse. Shanks is another big guest star in the world of sci-fi and he'll soon be seen as Hawkman on Smallville. With these two on board for the second half of season 5, Supernatural is certainly upping its pedigree of sci-fi guest stars. Source Here
Supernatural has done a Halloween episode and a Christmas episode, but now, in its fifth season, it's going to do a Valentine's Day episode. On February 11, the holiday single people love to hate is going to get the Supernatural twist. Cupid will be making an appearance and he's going to wreck some havoc. Throw in some angel action (Castiel is in it - yeay!) and you've got all the makings of a lovely Valentine's Day. Oh yeah, and a Horseman is riding into town as well. That's probably going to put a serious damper on the festivities. Check out several promo photos and a synopsis below. To Read More Click Here .
If the first clip from the upcoming Supernatural episode "Swap Meat" that we already posted didn't get you excited, maybe two more clips will. The episode features a nerdy teenage boy swapping bodies with Sam, and in these clips, we get to see the new Sam out and about. In the first clip, fake Sam is in a bar, enjoying an adult beverage with some adult company. Based on this clip, I can imagine Jared Padalecki had more fun with this than with any other Supernatural episode. To Read More Click Here .

Next week's Supernatural is sure to be full of comedy as Sam swaps bodies with a nerdy teenage boy. Since Dean is always mocking his little brother for being a nerd, I'm guessing it will take a while for him to catch on. The CW has released a clip from the episode, titled "Swap Meat," that should give fans a pretty good taste of what's to come. The first thing I notice is that Supernatural is letting Sam play his brain trapped in the boy's body while guest star Colton James is playing Sam. Body swap movies and TV shows are all different in terms of how they show us who does what. Personally, I think it would be funnier to see Jared Padalecki as the nerdy boy trapped in Sam's body, but I guess that won't be as big a part of it as I'd hoped. On the bright side, we already have a frontrunner for favorite line of next week's episode: "One leather jacket, one Sasquatch." Source & Preview

"Supernatural" is back from the Winter hiatus and next week, the show will do a another role-playing episode. Gary (guest star Colton James), a teenage nerd, conjures up a body-switching spell and changes bodies with Sam. Thrilled by his new handsome and built body, Gary (now Sam) investigates a case with Dean and takes advantage of his good looks and age by hitting on women and getting drunk. Meanwhile, Sam is stuck in Gary's teenage body, dealing with intrusive parents and high school. "Swap Meat" will air on Thursday, January 28 on The CW. Meanwhile, the show has shaped up its Valentine's Day episode which will be called "My Bloody Valentine". A sneak peek photo of the Cupid, played by Lex Medlin, who is thought responsible for a series of death due to love, has been shared, and he is not a typical Cherub. Source & Preview
First it was Smallville, now Supernatural. A couple of days ago we reported that Smallville had been picked up for a tenth season. Industry sources in Vancouver provided CinemaSpy with the tip, indicating that while the official announcement has not yet been made, behind-the-scenes itâs all but a done-deal. Today weâve been informed that Supernatural, too, has been confirmed with another season, in this case its sixth. Read more
