Supernatural: Sneak Peek at John Winchester's Return - Featured

Thanks to The CW 's Twitter mole, LilMissX, we now have a sneak peek at an upcoming Supernatural episode that will feature the return of John Winchester. But before you get too excited, relax: Jeffrey Dean Morgan is not back. Instead, this new photo is from an upcoming episode tentatively titled "Back to the Future II." As you might imagine, it's another flashback episode, which means the Papa Winchester we'll meet again is the young one. Matthew Cohen, who first appeared as Young John in season 4's "In the Beginning," returns, as you can see in the photo where he's featured with Dean. I know it might not be as cool as having the original Papa Winchester back, but it should be interesting to see how the past ties back to the Lucifer/Apocalypse storyline. Supernatural returns with new episodes Thursday, January 21 at 9pm on the CW.' Source Here

'Supernatural' Season 6 Talk Resurfaces at TCAs - Featured

Every time CW president Dawn Ostroff takes questions from the press, we always get the same debate: will there be a sixth season for Supernatural? Over the weekend, Ostroff spoke at the January press tour for the Television Critics Association, and once again she was asked whether season 6 is going to happen for Supernatural. While there's little new in her answer, things are definitely looking up for fans who want more Sam and Dean. Ostroff talked about how pleased she is with the creativity of the writers this season, the boost in ratings, particularly among women, and the fact that Supernatural is a very good fit with the network's newest hit, The Vampire Diaries. She also talked about creator Eric Kripke. While every fan knows that he came into the show with a five-year plan, Ostroff believes he has more than enough talent and creativity to keep Supernatural going, as does his writing staff. According to her, Kripke is keeping a very open mind about a possible season 6. None of this should come as a surprise, as the CW is desperate to keep hold of anything that works. The network is struggling with a very week Tuesday night lineup of '90s reboots and a general lack of original programming. With repeats on Tuesdays and Wednesdays until March, the CW will only be airing five hours of original programming per week for the next two months. That's hardly enough to sustain a major network, so Ostroff is certainly hoping and praying that Supernatural will stick around for another year. Source Here

'Supernatural' Goes to Heaven

Ever wondered what heaven would be like? Supernatural is giving us not just a sneak peek of paradise as reported previously but an episode set in the mystical place, according to Entertainment Weekly's Michael Ausiello. Warning: Spoilers ahead!!! If you've been reading spoilers about the rest of the fifth season of Supernatural, then this shouldn't come as a surprise for you. The show is going to feature a plot in which Sam and Dean are going to die--- actually, "murdered" is the more appropriate term, and will go to heaven. Death has never really been a stranger on Supernatural but considering how heavy and emotional the past deaths have been, it's unsettling to imagine what the Winchester brothers might go through. On the other hand, there's comfort in knowing that there might be some insane or humorous twist involve in all this. What will heaven look like? Any thoughts on who murders Sam and Dean? Don't forget to catch Supernatural when it returns on Thursday, January 21 on The CW. Source Here
