'Supernatural' Interview: Jensen Ackles at the 100th Episode Party

It's rather remarkable how Jensen Ackles can stay in such high spirits. AS Dean Winchester, he's been in nearly every scene of every episode of Supernatural for five years, but at the 100th episode party, he was still as excited as a little kid. When I talked to him, Jensen fondly reminisced about five seasons and 100 episodes, looking back at the moment he first new the show was special (it happened a lot sooner than you might think), how he's managed to cope with the long hours and his favorite prank on the set that involved the late Kim Manners. 'Supernatural' 5.19 Preview: Disturbed Hotel

"What's a four-star hotel doing in a no-star highway?" Sam asks, longing to find the answer. In the next "Supernatural", Sam and Dean are kidnapped by a group of gods, including Kali (guest star Rekha Sharma), Ganesh (guest star Keith Dallas) and Bladur (guest star Adam Croasdell) and held hostage in a small hotel. The gods want to use Sam and Dean as bargaining chips to stop the Apocalypse, but Gabriel (guest star Richard Speight, Jr.) shows up and warns them that if Lucifer finds them he will kill them all. Unfortunately, one of the gods turns on the rest and Lucifer appears. "Hammer of the Gods" airs on April 22. On another news, the webseries spin-off of "Supernatural" has premiered in conjunction with the show's 100th episode this week. Called "Ghosfacers", the webseries follows Ed and Harry as they investigate supernatural events. The first installment is available to watch here. Source & Preview

'Supernatural': Preview of Episode 5.17 '99 Problems'

Remember that awesome scene when Sam and Dean were massively surrounded by demons in the episode "Jus in Bello"? That scene was the first thing I remembered when I first saw the promo video for tonight's Supernatural episode, making me think that the 99th episode of Supernatural will be just as good, if not surpass Sam's pre-recorded exorcism that played over the office's PA. But instead of being trapped in a local sheriff's office, Sam and Dean are outnumbered by demons while helplessly driving the Impala. The best thing about "99 Problems" is the fact that Sam and Dean aren't the only ones trying to fight the Apocalypse. And somehow there's comfort in knowing that the one who saves them this time is a hunter who comes in the form of Michael Shanks (Stargate SG-1, Smallville). The focus of the episode, however, is Leah (guest star Kayla Mae Maloney), the daughter of Pastor Gideon (guest star Larry Poindexter) who claims to be a prophet. Leah convinces the very religious townspeople that they must obey her orders in order for them to have a place in Heaven, which alarms the Winchester brothers especially after she turns the townspeople against each other in the name of the Lord. Will Sam and Dean end up killing Leah? Source Here
